Michael Perry Park is NOT accessible from 22nd Street. It is located south of Golf Links with the Pantano Wash and Camino Seco to the west.
I would like a little history on the park's namesake. Is there a placard anywhere in the park to remind us who Michael Perry was and what he meant to the people of Tucson?

To let you know a little about the namesake of this park: I went to Secrist Middle School with Michael Perry, must've been around 1982ish. Michael Perry was kidnapped and murdered in the desert outside of Tucson. This park is a wonderful memorial to his short life.
